The Human and Natural Resources Development Foundation (HNRDF), a leading advocate for community development, actively works to empower women, particularly those facing challenges. In recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8th, HNRDF, under its dedicated leadership, joined the Galle Udugama Senaro Festival Hall to raise their voices for the voiceless. This event focused on working women in the southern Sri Lanka plantation sector, a marginalized group often facing labor rights issues. Through their participation, HNRDF reaffirmed its commitment to gender equality and ensuring these women have a platform to be heard.
ප්‍රජා සංවර්ධනය සඳහා ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ උපදේශකයෙකු වන මානව හා ස්වභාවික සම්පත් සංවර්ධන පදනම (HNRDF), විශේෂයෙන්ම අභියෝගවලට මුහුණ දෙන කාන්තාවන් සවිබල ගැන්වීම සඳහා ක්‍රියාකාරීව ක්‍රියා කරයි. මාර්තු 8 වන දිනට යෙදී ඇති ජාත්‍යන්තර කාන්තා දිනය නිමිත්තෙන් HNRDF සිය කැපවූ නායකත්වය යටතේ ගාල්ල උඩුගම සෙනරෝ උත්සව ශාලාවට එක්ව හඬක් නැති අය වෙනුවෙන් හඬක් නැගුවේය. කම්කරු අයිතිවාසිකම් ගැටලුවලට නිතර මුහුණ දෙන ආන්තික කණ්ඩායමක් වන දකුණු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ වතුකරයේ වැඩ කරන කාන්තාවන් කෙරෙහි මෙම උත්සවය අවධානය යොමු විය. ඔවුන්ගේ සහභාගීත්වය තුළින්, HNRDF ස්ත්‍රී පුරුෂ සමානාත්මතාවය සඳහා වන සිය කැපවීම සහ මෙම කාන්තාවන්ට සවන් දීමට වේදිකාවක් ඇති බව සහතික කළේය.
