The Human and Natural Resources Development Foundation (HNRDF) in Galle conducted a valuable workshop to equip communities with knowledge on accessing information and enforcing their rights.
The workshop focused on the Right to Information (RTI) Act, a critical legal tool empowering citizens to seek information from government bodies. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how to utilize the RTI Act to hold authorities accountable and ensure transparency.
Additional mechanisms were also discussed, providing participants with a broader toolkit for information access. This comprehensive approach empowers communities to actively engage with governance processes.

HNRDF තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ අයිතිය සහිත ප්‍රජාවන් සවිබල ගන්වයි
ගාල්ලේ මානව හා ස්වභාවික සම්පත් සංවර්ධන පදනම (HNRDF) විසින් තොරතුරු වෙත ප්‍රවේශ වීම සහ ඔවුන්ගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් බලාත්මක කිරීම පිළිබඳ දැනුමෙන් ප්‍රජාවන් සන්නද්ධ කිරීම සඳහා වටිනා වැඩමුළුවක් පවත්වන ලදී.
මෙම වැඩමුළුවේදී රජයේ ආයතනවලින් තොරතුරු ලබාගැනීමට පුරවැසියන්ට බලය ලබා දෙන තීරණාත්මක නීතිමය මෙවලමක් වන තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ අයිතිය (RTI) පනත පිළිබඳව අවධානය යොමු විය. බලධාරීන් වගවීම සහ විනිවිදභාවය සහතික කිරීම සඳහා RTI පනත භාවිතා කරන්නේ කෙසේද යන්න පිළිබඳව සහභාගිවන්නන් ගැඹුරු අවබෝධයක් ලබා ගත්හ.
තොරතුරු ප්‍රවේශය සඳහා හ්භාගීවනනනට පුළුල් මෙවලම් කට්ටලයක් ලබා දෙමින් අමතර යාන්ත්‍රණයන් පිළිබඳව ද සාකච්ඡා කරන ලදී. මෙම විස්තීරණ ප්‍රවේශය පාලන ක්‍රියාවලීන් සමඟ ක්‍රියාකාරීව සම්බන්ධ වීමට ප්‍රජාවන්ට බලය ලබා දෙයි.
