On April 26th, 2024, the Human and Natural Resources Development Foundation (HNRDF) conducted a sensitization program at Yakkalamulla. The Chief Counseling Officer of the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs participated as the resource person in the program aimed to equip 30 government officials with a deeper understanding of marginalized communities, specifically focusing on transgender individuals.
These officials, including the Divisional Secretary, Chief Village Officers, Economic Development Officers, Vanita Development Officers, and Public Health Inspectors from the Yakkalamulla Divisional Secretariat, play a critical role in delivering essential services to the community. By targeting them, HNRDF ensured the effective dissemination of information and fostered a more inclusive environment.
The program addressed the importance of bridging potential gaps in understanding and implementation of relevant policies within the administrative structure. Discussions emphasized the need for empathy and awareness regarding the specific needs of marginalized communities, particularly the transgender population.
The Divisional Secretary acknowledged the program’s significance, highlighting its potential to eliminate workplace inconveniences caused by a lack of understanding towards these groups. This initiative by HNRDF paves the way for a more supportive and inclusive environment for all within the Yakkalamulla community.
සංවේදීකරණ වැඩසටහන යක්කලමුල්ල නිලධාරීන්ට ඇතුළත් පාලනයක් සඳහා බලය ලබාදේ
2024 අප්‍රේල් 26 වන දින මානව හා ස්වභාවික සම්පත් සංවර්ධන පදනම (HNRDF) විසින් යක්කලමුල්ලේදී සංවේදී වැඩසටහනක් පවත්වන ලදී. විශේෂයෙන්ම සංක්‍රාන්ති ලිංගික පුද්ගලයන් කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කරමින් ආන්තික ප්‍රජාවන් පිළිබඳ ගැඹුරු අවබෝධයකින් රාජ්‍ය නිලධාරීන් 30 දෙනෙකු සන්නද්ධ කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් වැඩසටහනේ සම්පත් දායකයා ලෙස කාන්තා හා ළමා කටයුතු අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ප්‍රධාන උපදේශන නිලධාරිනිය සහභාගී විය.
යක්කලමුල්ල ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම්, ප්‍රධාන ග්‍රාම නිලධාරී, ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන නිලධාරීන්, වනිතා සංවර්ධන නිලධාරීන්, මහජන සෞඛ්‍ය පරීක්ෂකවරුන් ඇතුළු මෙම නිලධාරීන් ප්‍රජාවට අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය සේවා ලබා දීමේදී තීරණාත්මක කාර්යභාරයක් ඉටු කරයි. ඒවා ඉලක්ක කර ගනිමින්, HNRDF තොරතුරු ඵලදායී ලෙස බෙදා හැරීම සහතික කළ අතර වඩාත් ඇතුළත් පරිසරයක් පෝෂණය කළේය.
පරිපාලන ව්‍යුහය තුළ අදාළ ප්‍රතිපත්ති අවබෝධ කර ගැනීම සහ ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමේදී ඇති විය හැකි හිඩැස් පියවීමේ වැදගත්කම මෙම වැඩසටහන මගින් ආමන්ත්‍රණය කරන ලදී. ආන්තික ප්‍රජාවන්ගේ, විශේෂයෙන් සංක්‍රාන්ති ලිංගික ජනගහනයේ විශේෂිත අවශ්‍යතා සම්බන්ධයෙන් සංවේදනය සහ දැනුවත් කිරීමේ අවශ්‍යතාවය සාකච්ඡා මගින් අවධාරනය කරන ලදී.
ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම්වරයා වැඩසටහනේ වැදගත්කම පිළිගත්තේ මෙම කණ්ඩායම් කෙරෙහි ඇති අවබෝධයේ ඌනතාවය නිසා ඇතිවන රැකියා ස්ථානයේ අපහසුතාවයන් තුරන් කිරීමට එහි ඇති හැකියාව ඉස්මතු කරමිනි. HNRDF හි මෙම මුලපිරීම යක්කලමුල්ල ප්‍රජාව තුළ සිටින සියලු දෙනාට වඩාත් සහයෝගය සහ සියල්ල ඇතුළත් පරිසරයක් සඳහා මග පාදයි.
