The Human and Natural Resources Development Foundation (HNRDF), in collaboration with the Neelan Thiruchelvam Trust, successfully conducted a two-day training workshop on June 1st and 2nd at the Matara Sarvodaya Vishwadharma Kendra. This program, part of the ongoing Project for Empowerment and Networking of Marginalized Community Groups, aimed to equip participants with valuable skills for personal and community development. The program focused on three key themes:
Leadership and Soft Skills Development:
This module provided participants with the tools and strategies to develop essential leadership qualities. These skills are crucial for advocating for themselves and their communities.
Social Media Usage:
The training addressed the effective and safe use of social media platforms. Participants gained valuable insights into utilizing social media for positive social change and communication.
Cyber Security:
Police Inspector Cyber Crime Division Mr. HKE Harshaka provided valuable information on cyber security best practices. This knowledge empowers participants to protect themselves online.
Lecturer LG Pemasiri also made significant contributions by sharing his expertise with the participants.
This program specifically targeted communities residing in the Matara and Hambantota districts. A participant aptly noted, “Leadership is not just about managing people, but it’s something we need in our daily lives.” The training fostered a sense of empowerment, equipping participants with the skills to advocate for themselves and their communities.

මානව හා ස්වභාවික සම්පත් සංවර්ධන පදනම (HNRDF), නීලන් තිරුචෙල්වම් භාරය සමඟ එක්ව ජුනි 1 සහ 2 යන දෙදින තුළ මාතර සර්වෝදය විශ්වධර්ම කේන්ද්‍රයේදී දෙදින පුහුණු වැඩමුළුවක් සාර්ථකව පවත්වන ලදී. මෙම වැඩසටහන, ආන්තික ප්‍රජා කණ්ඩායම් සවිබල ගැන්වීම සහ ජාලගත කිරීම සඳහා ක්‍රියාත්මක ව්‍යාපෘතියේ කොටසක් වන අතර, පුද්ගලික සහ ප්‍රජා සංවර්ධනය සඳහා සහභාගිවන්නන් වටිනා කුසලතා වලින් සන්නද්ධ කිරීම අරමුණු කර ගෙන ඇත.
වැඩසටහන ප්‍රධාන තේමාවන් තුනක් කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කළේය:
නායකත්වය සහ මෘදු නිපුණතා සංවර්ධනය: මෙම මොඩියුලය සහභාගිවන්නන්ට අත්‍යවශ්‍ය නායකත්ව ගුණාංග වර්ධනය කර ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය මෙවලම් සහ උපාය මාර්ග ලබා දුන්නේය. තමන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ ප්‍රජාව වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටීම සඳහා මෙම කුසලතා ඉතා වැදගත් වේ.
සමාජ මාධ්‍ය භාවිතය: සමාජ මාධ්‍ය වේදිකා ඵලදායි සහ ආරක්‍ෂිත ලෙස භාවිතා කිරීම පිළිබඳ පුහුණුව ආමන්ත්‍රණය කරන ලදී. ධනාත්මක සමාජ වෙනසක් සහ සන්නිවේදනය සඳහා සමාජ මාධ්‍ය භාවිතා කිරීම සඳහා සහභාගිවන්නන් වටිනා අවබෝධයක් ලබා ගත්හ.
සයිබර් ආරක්‍ෂාව: සයිබර් අපරාධ කොට්ඨාශයේ පොලිස් පරීක්‍ෂක එච්.කේ.ඊ. හර්ෂක මහතා සයිබර් ආරක්‍ෂාව පිළිබඳ හොඳම භාවිතයන් පිළිබඳ වටිනා තොරතුරු සපයන ලදී. මෙම දැනුම හ්භාගීවනනනට සබැඳිව ආරක්ෂා වීමට බල ගන්වයි.
කථිකාචාර්ය එල්.ජී. පේමසිරි ද සහභාගී වූවන් සමඟ සිය විශේෂඥ දැනුම බෙදා ගනිමින් සැලකිය යුතු දායකත්වයක් ලබා දුන්නේය.
මෙම වැඩසටහන මාතර සහ හම්බන්තොට දිස්ත්‍රික්කවල වෙසෙන ප්‍රජාවන් විශේෂයෙන් ඉලක්ක කර ගන්නා ලදී. සහභාගිවන්නෙකු සුදුසු ලෙස සඳහන් කළේ, “නායකත්වය යනු මිනිසුන් කළමනාකරණය කිරීම පමණක් නොව, එය අපගේ එදිනෙදා ජීවිතයේදී අපට අවශ්‍ය දෙයකි.” මෙම පුහුණුව මගින් සවිබල ගැන්වීමේ හැඟීමක් ඇති කරන ලද අතර, සහභාගිවන්නන් තමන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ ප්‍රජාවන් වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටීමට කුසලතා වලින් සන්නද්ධ විය.
